I am blessed. This path as an artist and maker began after my son died in 2011. I was given this gift to create shortly after and it became my saving grace. The ability to learn how to bring stones and metal to life through my hands has changed my heart. It is a story. There is my story when I am creating it and then there will be your story when you make it yours. I love this connection that we form and appreciate how we all get what we need along the way.

I have a studio on the family property and the contentment and blessings there find their way into wearable art for you. I can be in the studio when times are hard and within moments of creating I receive a change in perspective and a renewed hope. My heart is in my work in ways I cannot explain. I have no doubt that God is doing for me what I cannot do for myself. For this I am so grateful and I believe I am meant to share it with you. Thank you for being here and supporting this extension of my heart. This is all possible through the love and strength of family and friends.

The Dang Brave Girl Original KFG Cuff. It all began quite simply. A friend asked if I could make her one. It has been my life motto for as long as I can remember. It may have sounded a little different along the way, but the truth and heart of it remained the same. This cuff’s message resonates with so many people. People who are facing life on life’s terms and walking through trials with measurable grace. People who are not giving up, no matter what, and in their own brave way they are their own hero.

Then, as I made them, you all started sending me your stories. I heard that your sister is going through a divorce and you want to remind her how strong she is. I heard about your mom facing cancer, your best friend losing a child or your own child going off to college. I keep hearing your stories, I keep seeing your brave love for others and yourself and I am inspired to keep fucking going myself.

We all have a story. I am blessed to know yours.
