AND SO IT GOES…

First, let me say thank you to all of you for being my hero. The way you continue to show up for life, no matter what, inspires me to keep doing the same. You all sure know how to write a great story for your life and I appreciate that you share it with me.

As we say thank you and goodbye to 2024, we should pause to acknowledge just how incredible beautiful life is. And yes, it is challenging, tragic and full of opportunities to accept changes…whether we asked for them or not. No matter how we slice it, we have made it through. The goal didn’t have have be that we come it through braver, stronger or better…just that we got through. And we did.

I know many of you carry the heavy weight of loss and grief and that load is a complex mix of feelings all cross the board. I navigate that journey daily too and staying true to it all, whatever it looks like at any given moment, is my saving grace.

Some days the grief is excruciatingly silent and others it is so heart breaking loud…and making peace with that fact is a relief of sorts. To cease fighting what IS, to give up all hopes of changing the past and to reside in the comfort of what love actually is brings measurable ok-ness.

Brave friends, I know you don’t always feel brave. I see you. I hear you. I feel you. And I thank you for being you.

I pray you walk into your next moment knowing you are loved.
