Let me be as a feather…
Eric was nice enough to trust me with a few of his ‘blank’ mugs and I couldn’t wait to try my hand designing, carving, painting and glazing them! Of course I was nervous I’d mess them up but thankfully I didn’t and I can’t wait to do it again!
This one is Oregon Red clay, has a hand braided handle, thumb rest and I added a carved feather and the sentiment to the front.
The carved design hand painted (underglazed) with black and turquoise and covered with clear glaze.
Holds 17 oz, measures 5 1/4” tall, is lead free and food, microwave and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended.
