Dang Brave Girl Hoodie Sweatshirt
If you are looking at these then you likely know a bit about me and my story. And you can probably understand and relate to the fear and weirdness I am feeling about putting these out there to the world. I’m thinking all those negative thoughts we tell ourselves, driving home our unworthiness and less-than-ness. That tape running through my head says “who do you think you are Jamie”? ‘What makes you think someone would want to wear your message”? “Why are you even doing this”?
Well, when I’m feeling brave enough my answer is that I’m doing this for you. To remind you not to listen to that same voice and that same terrible tape. I want it to be different for you. And maybe if I see it working in your life it will help me too. Because I forget who I am. I forget I am not just a survivor but a thriver. I forget my own dang story and start believing one that doesn’t serve me.
So I need you guys. And I hope together we can remember to stay brave for each other.
These hoodies are made by the Gildan brand and are a 50/50 8 oz. heavy blend that’s made with a pill-resistant air jet yarn, double needle stitching throughout, set-in sleeves, 1x1 ribbed collar, cuffs and waistband with spandex. Both the hood and pouch pocket are double lined with matching draw cord on the hood. All hoodies are black with my golden sunshine yellow design.
I am a sweatshirt wearer every day. They keep me warm and comfortable in my studio but I don’t like bulky clothes and these offer all that I need and nothing that I don’t. They are the perfect mix of weight and warmth without being too thick or too thin. And I’m known to layer with a tank top should the sun decide to warm me up in the afternoons.
