Balanced, centered, grounded…
What we all are aiming for and a sweet state of being we love to reside in. But it doesn’t always stay or feel that way and guides, markers, talismans…pieces like this may serve as as reminder to continue creating that for ourselves. It is often just under the surface, around that mental corner…we just need a little soul nudge.
My rock cairns are made the DBG 5R way of repurposing, recycling, reclaiming, redeeming and reloving silver that has seen better days and has ended up in the scrap pile. It might be broken jewelry, old silverware, work of mine that didn’t make the cut…it’s all melted down, rolled out over and over, allowing for that raw ‘live’ edge to happen organically.
Gemstones are chosen, sentiments are hand stamped and a incredible new treasure emerges to be loved.
Larimar is stacked with my handmade pebbles, making a one of a kind formation on the thick silver and the contrast of the rich patina and sky blue stones is pure magic.
It’s finished with a generous piece of black leather, adjustable to your preferred length. The pendant measures 1 1/8” wide, is 2” tall, including the bail and weighs in at a substantial 25+ grams of solid silver.
