This sentiment, mantra, reminder, phrase, message was new to me when the custom request came in from a lady who had been living this mantra since her chaplaincy training years ago when her supervisor, a 65 year old 6’7” Texan told her “Darlin’ you gotta transcend the bullshit”. Not only did that change her life but when she told shared it with me, it clicked and I believe it is changing mine too. And when I created a custom cuff for her, I made one for myself as well and it has become one of my daily staples.
Handcrafted with sterling silver and hand stamped with the sentiment in a vintage tattoo style font on the front and finished with a hammered texture to remind us that no matter how much we are beaten and battered we can still transcend the bullshit. A rich patina and soft polish finish the piece that I hope comes to mean as much to you as it does me.
Like all my cuffs, they are made to fit most wrists. It measures 6” with a approximate 1” opening at the back. If needed it can adjusted with first wearing with a gentle squeeze or careful spreading. After that it should never need adjusting again as it will naturally conform to the shape of your wrist with wear. Please note that constant adjustments may compromise the silver.
