When I think about this cuff I can’t help but get emotional.

3 small words that hold such a big meaning.

And it all began quite simply. A friend asked if I could make her one and while I completely related to the sentiment and it’s powerful message I was hesitant to share it on social media when I was finished with it. In fact, I waited and weighed whether it was appropriate or not. I was so concerned about what other people might think about the use of profanity that I missed the whole point.

You see, this message is nothing new to me. It has been my life motto for as long as I can remember. It may have sounded a little different along the way, but the truth and heart of it remained the same. But suddenly I was afraid of offending people with that truth.

But it wasn’t long before my own need to be true to myself won over the fear, like it always does and I shared a picture Instagram. And it went wild! But in such a amazing and good way I could of never dreamed. It turns out that YOU are like me. You are facing life on life’s terms and walking through trials with measurable grace. You are not giving up, no matter what, and in your own brave way you are your own hero.

You all started sending me your stories. I heard that your sister is going through a divorce and you want to remind her how strong she is. I heard about your mom facing cancer, your best friend losing a child or your own child going off to college. I keep hearing your stories, I keep seeing your brave love for others and yourself and I am inspired to keep fucking going myself.

We all have a story. I am blessed to know yours.
