Hello, It’s been awhile. I keep thinking I’ll sit down and touch base on whats new in the DBG world but I feel like I am still settling in here in Washington even though we are clearly right at home.

Most of our issues these last 7 months have been about accepting ‘what is’ and the biggest challenge has been my husband finding a new job. And then the most amazing thing happened less than two months ago…my husband began sand casting and working in the shop with me! And together we have been creating new pieces that use his designs paired with my mine. It is unexpected and wonderful and while we have no idea where this is all going or how long it will last, we have decided to enjoy this chapter.

You can still expect to see my mountain, trees and sun inspired pieces along with Malas on Mondays but will continue to find ways to bring you all the unique and incredible work Eric is doing. We just finished a huge custom order for a special client who belongs to a women’s motorcycle club and we were blessed enough to create custom logo cuffs and stackers with their name. It was a big project and I couldn’t have done it without Eric. We have begun to call ourselves ‘Team Brave’ and I refer to him as DBH (Dang Brave Hubbo), which is all true!

I invite your feedback and your stories…please never stop sharing those! 2019 was the year to Keep Fucking Going…and you all did that like the brave souls you are. I was so inspired every time you showed up for your life, even when it sucked. We all know 2020 won’t be without it’s share of heartache but when we remember that we can still shine, no matter what is going on, we have a shot of getting through the hardest parts with a touch of grace and mercy.

Thank you for being such a huge part of Dang Brave Girl…we are all walking this road alongside each other and I couldn’t ask for better traveling companions. Be well and don’t forget to Be The Sunshine, you never know who might be needing your special kind of light.
