5R Sterling Silver Rings
The 5 R’s
Reclaimed.
Repurposed.
Recycled.
Redeemed.

They are one of my favorite designs of all the pieces I create. Hands down. They have my heart.
It all started when I was looking at a tray full of scraps, broken jewelry, discarded projects…these pieces were basically used and thrown away. It saddened me and reminded me of how I felt at times in my life. So in that moment I decided to do something about it and the 5R style was born.
They are gathered up, put under the fire, melted down to a molten state and reshaped into something new and lovable again (often what happens to us in life). I make cabochons with silver and set them just like I would a normal stone…only these are solid silver! I love their substance and their meaning….they will always be a huge part of Dang Brave Girl.
I created 6 rings, each with hand stamped details around the silver ‘stone’ and on the thick sun-shiny band.
They each have their own style and are one of a kind. In the two numbered pictures you will see the item number for ordering in one photo and corresponding picture showing their size in the other. I have also placed a picture in the drop down size menu to correspond with the correct ring.
They vary in weight and size slightly and are as follows:
#1 Size 10, 16.7g. 1” x 1.5”.
#2 Size 10, 11 6g. 7/8” x 1 3/16”.
#3 Size 9.5, 9.6g. 7/8” x 1”.
#4 Size 9, 11.9g. 1” x 1”.
#5 Size 9, 13.7g. 1” x 1 1/8”.
#6 Size 8.5, 14.1g. 1” x 1 1/8”.
They were all given a rich patina and soft polish to highlight all the details. I hope you enjoy yours!
