Shooting Star Size 8
Don’t you know you are a shooting star…
Never forget to shine your light! That’s the reminder I wanted to capture in this ring, and I think I did. I also love the double reminder with the number one…one day at a time.
The ‘stone’ is a real pool ball cut into a cabochon and set in silver, just like I would any other kind of gemstone. The bezel is tall to hold the chunky ‘stone’ and detailed with stars.
The Live Edge band is also chunky and built to last. It is thick, made in DBG 5R style of Repurposed, Reclaimed, Recycled, Redeemed and Reloved silver. It is detailed with stars as well, along with the sentiment ‘shooting star’ hand stamped on the back.
This is a substantial ring, made in a size 8 on the mandrel and fitting more like a 7.5 due to the thick and wider band measuring 5/8”. The focal setting measures just a smidge over 1” and the ring is finished with a rich patina and given a hint of a polish to highlight the details.
