Silkwood & Turquoise Mala
Today…
I know I have said this before but my most loved and worn mala is made of Silkwood. It is super lightweight, has a slightly sweet fragrance and is a mala just seem to feel better each time I wear it.
Traditionally made, this mala is hand knotted between each and every one of the 108 8mm beads on thick silk, making for a strong and yet graceful necklace. It’s perfect for your meditation practice or enjoyed as a lovely beaded beauty.
The turquoise pendant portion is sterling silver, measuring just over 5/8” wide and 1 1/8” tall, including the bail. It’s hand stamped with the reminder on the back and finished with a rich patina and soft polish.
The mala measures 40”, plus an additional 4 1/2” of handmade leather tassel in a lovely chocolate brown.
